Psion Digital Limited – Legacy Products Support Update
In July 2001, Psion announced its withdrawal from the consumer handheld computer market. At that time Psion committed to providing technical and customer services support for these products up until the end of 2004.
The products included in this statement were:-
- Revo
- Revo Plus
- Psion 618(Chinese language Revo)
- Series 5mx
- Series 7
In addition, in May 2002 Psion announced the End of Life for the Gold Card range of products. At that time Psion stated that we would provide warranty support for a further two years.
Further to these announcements, Psion is now confirming its intention to withdraw support for all of the above legacy products as set out below:-
- With effect from 1st March 2005 telephone support will cease completely but Psion will endeavour to make available an online knowledge base to support its customers who still utilise these legacy products at http://www.mypsionsupport.com.
