Wavefinder Wavefinder Software - Version 1.2

This is a copy of Version 1.2 of the Wavefinder software.

After installation you should run the upgrade to Version 1.4, which is available as a separate download.

Please note that the Wavefinder software is not compatible with Windows XP service Pack 2.

Installation instructions

  1. Download the file Wavefinder.zip.
  2. Extract the contents of the Zip file to the folder C:\Wavefinder on your PC.
  3. Attach the antenna rods to the Wavefinder.
  4. Plug the lead from the mains power supply unit into the socket on the back of the USB plug.
  5. Plug the power supply unit into a mains socket and switch on.
  6. Connect the Wavefinder’s USB plug to a spare USB socket on your PC. Windows will detect the new hardware and prompt you for the location of the driver. Browse to the folder C:\Wavefinder and click on Next.
  7. Once the Wavefinder hardware is successfully installed, double click on the file C:\Wavefinder\Setup to install the Wavefinder application software.

Wavefinder Wavefinder Software - Upgrade to Version 1.4

This is an upgrade from Version 1.2 and 1.3 of the Wavefinder software.

To check which version you have launch the Wavefinder software and select ‘About…’ from the ‘Options’ menu.

Please note that the Wavefinder software is not compatible with Windows XP service Pack 2.

Installation instructions
  1. Download the file ‘wavefinder12_13_14.exe’.
  2. Ensure that the Wavefinder software is not running.
  3. Double click on the file ‘wavefinder12_13_14.exe’ to install the upgrade to Version 1.4.
